Tom, who originally is a certified
baker and has worked as a
full-time paramedic for many years,
fell in love with horses in 1995 and
has been a passionate western rider
ever since. Before moving to B.C., he operated and managed a small
guest ranch with tack-shop and
horse-training together with his
wife Clarissa for some years. He
is a talented carpenter and an
ambitious cook; he’ll take you out
on trail rides, guided hikes and
mountain bike tours and ensures
your general comfort and safety
...and bakes all our breads and
pastries.
Clarissa, who grew up with horses, worked as a flight attendant for many years before assuming the role of full-time manager and trainer at their guest ranch. Like Tom, she loves the great outdoors and is not only certified as a trail ride guide and horse trainer, but also in Wildlife and Forestry conservation. Cooking, riding lessons and starting young horses are some of her favorite activities.
